The Arkus Journey of Events and Connection

10/10/2025 by Brooke Stickle
From coast to coast, the Arkus team spends our time connecting with mission-driven leaders, sharing Salesforce and AI insights, and helping nonprofits streamline workflows, boost impact, and strengthen communities.

Arkus has been a part of the Salesforce ecosystem since our founding in 2010, not just from behind our screens with complex tech stacks, but out in the world, spending quality time with the incredible people we work with. We’ve been especially excited to return to in-person events in the past two years. Arkus has had the privilege of showing up across the country to learn, teach, and connect with mission-driven leaders in the Salesforce ecosystem. Each stop along the way has helped us strengthen relationships, share expertise, and gain new perspectives on how Salesforce and technology can fuel meaningful impact.

Read on to learn about the events we host and participate in — where we’ve been and where we hope to see you in the months ahead!

Building Momentum Through 2025

Conferences & Clients

This year has been filled with a multitude of exciting opportunities to connect. Some of our favorite events are ones where we can show up in support of a client’s cause, and we started off the year with the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters dinner in Washington D.C., continuing our conversations to help drive further success for youth-based organizations. Later in the season, the team took time to chat it up with attendees of the annual Big Brothers Big Sister National Conference, collaborating, exchanging ideas, and discovering new approaches to strengthen youth mentoring in communities.

Later in January, we exhibited at the Habitat for Humanity Affiliate Conference in Atlanta. We are proud to support so many incredible Habitat for Humanity teams, and at the in-person conference we shared a booth with the Salesforce team, discussed ideas on how leaders dedicated to advancing housing affordability and equity could streamline operations, strengthen advocacy, and empower affiliates to better serve their communities.

Read more about the questions we were asked and what we learned during this event in this takeaway blog post from Andrew Fretwell. Our team excitement continued into this season as we just held a webinar with Appiphony on integrations that can supporting teams supporting people with housing. Keep reading to learn more about that webinar and other virtual events.

Our team was also asked to take part in the Success Hub of the annual Classy Collaborative, where we set up to answer common Salesforce questions for attendees. If you have questions about Classy (now known as GoFundMe Pro), you can reach out to us anytime through our contact form.

Most recently, we headed to the AZA World Tour in Tampa, building on the work we have done with Zoo Miami Foundation and the Dreamforce 2 Year event we held together last year. At AZA, the Arkus team met with zoos and aquariums advancing missions in animal care, conservation, and public education, highlighting how Salesforce helps unify disconnected data from ticketing, membership, and fundraising to create insights that strengthen engagement and support lasting sustainability. Read more about our takeaways from this conference in this post on technology that supports Zoos and Aquariums from Sarah Bucelli.

Salesforce Agentforce World Tours

In March, we returned to the Capitol for the Salesforce Agentforce World Tour in D.C., diving into conversations about AI, automation, and smarter workflows. The AI information train kept moving through June of this year, when we traveled to Salesforce World Tour Boston. Salesforce has been hosting World Tours in different cities across the world for some time, continuing into 2024 and 2025 with an added focus on Agentforce. During Agentforce Boston, Arkies engaged with attendees and demonstrated how autonomous custom agents can enhance workflow efficiency and intelligence.

Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for the World Tour in NYC this December. Mark your calendars and reach out to connect if you are going to be in the city!

Salesforce Conferences

Arkus traveled to Connections in both 2024 and 2025, joining the community in discussions and sessions on the growing importance of AI, Data Cloud, and unified customer experiences, highlighting how marketers seek more actionable tools, better data foundations, and deeper integration across channels. This year, Arkus Experts also joined Connections in Chicago to explore agentic marketing, personalization, and innovative strategies for growth.

In April, Arkus hosted the NGO Happy Hour at the Tableau Conference in San Diego. This gathering gave nonprofit leaders a space to relax, share experiences, and build community while exploring how data visualization can make an organization’s impact more tangible.

Dreamins & Community Events

Along with Salesforce events, it’s also been a busy two years of community-led events, especially the much-enjoyed Dreamins.  From Tahoe Dreamin’, where Arkies shared lessons learned from complex consulting projects, to Texas Dreamin’, where the AI discussion continued with inspiring sessions focused on AI, data, and innovations, Dreamins create space for learning, networking, and celebrating the growing Ohana.

Mile High Dreamin’ also gave us the opportunity to connect with the local Salesforce community, share ideas, and explore the latest tools and strategies to help their organizations thrive in today’s digital landscape.

In addition to Dreamins, another long-time team community-led favorite is WITness Success, an event focused on supporting and investing in Women in Tech in the Salesforce ecosystem, and we were happy to join in the conversation.

Days of Learning

Looking back on 2024, one of our all-time favorite events was our memorable Day of Learning at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Partnering with the Dodgers Foundation and Salesforce for Nonprofits, we shared insights and sparked conversations over lunch that set the tone for the months ahead.

We have continued to bring this energy and learning into our events after, with pop-up Days of Learning in-person and online, including our virtual Day of Learning focused on animal welfare. Together with nonprofit professionals, we explored practical ways to amplify volunteer efforts, improve donor engagement, and adapt to the growing role of new tools in advancing animal-based missions.

Arkus experts hosted several free Day of Learning events focused around AI, including a Lunch & Learn in Chicago at the Salesforce Tower. The event gave nonprofit executives a chance to explore how AI and data can power purpose and sharpen strategy.

Shortly after, we headed to Salesforce West in San Francisco for another learning event centered on Data + AI + CRM. The day featured engaging panels and opportunities to connect with peers across the Bay Area.

Arkus then held an additional nonprofit Day of Learning in Washington, D.C., covering how AI can help nonprofits manage data, improve marketing, boost program engagement and donations, and build stronger constituent relationships with Salesforce.

We marched into June with a Day of Learning cohosted with Salesforce in San Francisco, where local nonprofits were invited to participate in sessions and a panel on data strategy and AI for mission-driven organizations.

The heat continued into August, when Arkus and Salesforce gathered nonprofit professionals in Dallas for an Afternoon of Learning focused on navigating change, data strategy, AI, and funding diversification.

Solution Webinars

Between in-person events, we kicked off two new series of webinars. We launched our new Client Success Webinar series with our first session, “Do You Need a Salesforce Tune-up,” with host Berkeley Baker. This session focused on preparing Salesforce orgs to move from Workflows and Process Builders to Flows.

The Client Success series continued with our second session, “Mission Control - Smarter Decisions Through Aligned Data,” focusing on the importance of data strategy when integrating Salesforce systems with other apps. Our July Client Success Webinar, “Raiser’s Edge to NPC,” guided attendees through key steps, considerations, and tools for a successful migration from Raiser’s Edge to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

Our most recent Client Success webinar, “Agentforce - Myths and Facts for Nonprofits,” included expert insights, a live demo, and practical strategies for nonprofits to demystify Agentforce and explore how mission-driven organizations can use Salesforce AI to increase efficiency, simplify processes, and amplify impact.

We also hosted the first webinar in a new Marketing Cloud Webinar series with Iva Mandic in 2025, called “Marketing Simplified - Why Salesforce Marketing Cloud on Core?”  The session was aimed at nonprofits and financial organizations to help them better understand Marketing Cloud on Core and to see how better data integration can boost ROI. Keep an eye out for the next session in this series in early December, focusing on the importance of Data Strategy to the effective use of Marketing Cloud.

Building on what we’ve learned working with Habitat for Humanity affiliates, we went into September with another webinar, focused on tools that can be uniquely helpful to teams who help others access secure housing. Joined by Appiphony’s CEO, George Kenessey, we hosted “Build More, Click Less - Simplify Applications with Arkus & Appiphony,” to talk about how housing organizations and nonprofits can streamline applicant and file management in Salesforce using intuitive tools and training that enhance systems, optimize workflows, and empower teams.
